Erica Paige, an aspiring performer, has been singing and dancing since the age of eight. She performed in many musical theatre productions throughout her childhood as she attended a prestigious performing arts camp in Lenox, MA. She recorded her first cover song at the age of eleven with help from Britney Spears’ talent scout, Billy Kahn. Erica then continued to take vocal lessons and record cover songs from thirteen to sixteen. At fifteen, Erica became a finalist in Sunoco’s Welcome to America contest, where she performed a then original song called “Everything to Me”, which then reached number one on the charts when it was released a year later by Brooke Hogan. Erica began to write a song at the age of sixteen and soon after worked with songwriters in Chicago, IL creating more original music. After a year of flying from her hometown of Philadelphia to Chicago every other weekend during her senior year of high school,Erica decided to enroll in Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA to further expand her musical skills in singing, songwriting, production, and even music business. Erica is currently a senior at Berklee College of Music and her number one priority is still to be a pop performer.
She frequently records songs with Studio 4 Productions in Philadelphia, PA where people such as Boyz II Men, Lauryn Hill, Bob Dylan, and the Fugees have recorded. She also spent time working in New York at ABC Music Publishing and in Los Angeles for an internship with Geffen Records, Universal Music Group. Erica was also accepted to University of Miami’s Music Business and Entertainment Industries program, but she chose not to transfer there due to her opportunity to work at Geffen. Erica is finishing up her last semester at Berklee and is ready to showcase her talents to the world. Having recently signed to Living Sound Entertainment and j’ mar records, Erica is now confident and ready embark on her musical journey.
